Do I receive any benefits?
You will have benefits after the first of the month following 4 months of service, including health, dental, life and long-term disability. We also offer a 401k program. Major holidays will be paid after 90 days from the start of your project.
What type of references do I need?
We ask for references from your supervisors for the last 4 positions or the past 7 years.
What is my obligation to FLEX EXECS?
We expect our contract consultants to be professional and ethical. We do not tolerate discrimination, sexual harassment or any behavior not in keeping with a professional work environment - from consultants or clients.
Can I work with other firms?
We hope you will always call us first. We work hard to keep our consultants working and we value our relationships.
How will I be paid?
We pay our W-2 consultants weekly. Consultants must submit a time report signed by the client. Because you are a Flex Execs Management Solutions employee, we withhold the appropriate federal, state and local taxes, including Social Security and Medicare. With our direct-deposit program, your funds are immediately available on payday.
What if I have a break in service?
Your benefits continue for 90 days while we work on placing you in another project. If we are unable to place you in that time frame, we will supply you with COBRA information.
What if the client asks what I'm being paid?
Remember you are a Flex Execs Management Solutions employee. We consider compensation a confidential matter between you and Flex Execs. You should refer all questions to us. A response you might use is: 'I'll be happy to have Flex Execs call you to discuss your question.'
Is there any compensation for referrals?
Yes! Ask your Flex Execs Management Solutions liaison for details about our current referral bonus program.
What if I need time off or I am ill?
First advise the client and then call your Flex Execs liaison.
Can I call a client directly?
All client contacts should be made through Flex Execs. We take care of scheduling your interview and any follow up as part of our service.
What if I am offered a full-time position by the client company while on a project?
You need to speak with your Flex Execs liaison as soon as possible. Such conversation about the scope of your project or your employment must take place between Flex Execs Management Solutions and the client company to avoid any misunderstandings about the client's obligations under our agreement.
What does it mean to work with Flex Execs Management Solutions as an executive search candidate?
It simply means that we will use our best efforts to match your credentials and career goals with our clients' needs and cultures.
If I work with you, am I prohibited from working with other search firms?
No, however, make sure that anyone working with you advises you when you will be presented and before they do so. This will help ensure that you are not disqualified for a position because your credentials were submitted by two companies.
How do I know where my credentials are sent?
We never present you to a company without disclosing its identify to you prior to the submittal. You have an important decision-making role in the credential submission process. This protects Flex Execs Management Solutions and its clients from disputes and you from potential disqualification of your candidacy.
What kinds of information will you need from us?
We are interested in the details of your current duties and responsibilities. A list of accomplishments is also very helpful as is a statement of the benefit you will bring to a new employer. In addition, because we will be working with you on your next career move, you should be prepared with detailed information about your salary history.
What information can I expect about your clients?
We try to give you a brief overview of the company, Its financial situation, corporate organization, culture and work ethic, company philosophy, benefit programs and future career path.
How much time will I have to invest?
If you have been contacted about a specific client opening, we will generally spend a brief period of time determining if you have the required credentials and are a good match with the client culture. If it looks like you're a match, you can expect to be invited for a personal interview with our staff. Assuming there is still a possibility of a good match, additional time would be spent interviewing with the client. The total time involved varies with the client and the position.
What if the fit is not right with a particular client?
We work with many clients who have similar needs and, with your permission, we will present your credentials to them. If you are interested, we ask you to prepare a list of your top 15 choices for your next employer; we will make every effort to present your credentials to the right hiring authorities at those companies.
