Our client is a Consumer
Products company that is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for
its Headquarters located in western suburbs. The office environment at this

opportunity for the creative Senior Financial Analyst.
In this position the candidate
will act as a liaison with Marketing, Accounting and Regional Finance
teams. Working in a regional business unit and on an international
level, this candidate will have the responsibility to determine the
performance of regional divisions, assist with budgets, plan monthly
financial marketing analysis, contract and proposal reviews and various
other project analyses. He or she will possess strong leadership,
communication and negotiation skills. Additionally, must be able to
work effectively with Executive Level Staff. Duties to include, brand
financial reviews and coordinate financial information to develop annual
budget, marketing strategy and ensure appropriate level to ledger balances
for promotional liabilities as well as month end closing reports.
* Must have Bachelors Degree,
Business Finance or Accounting concentration with MBA or CPA as a plus.
* Must have at least 5 years in Consumer
Goods or Manufacturing and a working knowledge of accounting processes and
procedures.
* Ability to prepare monthly
P&L reviews, provide financial reporting with SKU detail with knowledge
of retail, cost and pricing margins with profitability, maintain compliance
requirements.
* Systems requirements with
Hyperion or SAP, Peoplesoft and Excel.
* Experience supporting a
marketing group.
* Good track record that shows
upward mobility and career progression within the accounting and finance
domain
* Excellent communication skills
* Team player
